Anxiety as fresh fact indicates Buhari’ll stay longer in London

Anxiety mounts as the presidency on Tuesday ruled out the possibility of President Muhammadu Buhari’s return back to the country anytime soon.


A statement released by the president’s special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina attributed the new development to series of test carried out on the President which will necessitate him to stay longer in the United Kingdom.

Adesina related the president’s gratitude to Nigerians for their prayers and love and, also assured there is no cause to worry about the president’s well being.

The president’s spokesperson in addition refuted the rumour about the health status of Buhari and reiterated that his extended vacation is only in accordance with the directives of his doctors. 

On the alleged molestation of a Guardian reporter seeking to know the condition of the president, Adesina said the journalists were only prevented from intruding President buhari’s privacy.
On  January 23, Buhari embarked on a 10-day-vacation a situation that has since been fueling speculation about true state of the president in both traditional and social media.
