Poll: Is the release of 82 Chibok girls a laudable achievement?

Reactions have continued to trail the recent release of 82 Chibok girls from the captivity of the popular terrorist group in Nigeria, Boko Haram.

As the present administration presents the girls before the general public, questions have continued to run through the minds of concerned citizens in the country.

To some, the development is a laudable achievement by the present administration although it was part of the campaign promises of the administration to struggle for the release of the girls who were abducted from their own school on Monday, April 14, 2014.

As some see the development as an achievement, some have gone ahead to expand their thoughts as they feel the release of the girls had more than just a release.

Those who claimed they had lost trust in the present administration, questioned the release of the school girls at a time that President Muhammadu Buhari jets out of the country indefinitely for the United Kingdom where he will remain till further notice, owing to the state of his health.

They alleged that the release of the Chibok girls was to divert the attention of Nigerians from the fact that their President had gone out of the country again for another undisclosed period of time.

What is your take on the recent release of the girls?
