Ruptured pipeline catches fire, gulps properties, renders people homeless (Photos)

Pipeline explosion occurred early this morning at Abule Egba axis of Lagos state.
The severe fire outbreak gulped nearby buildings, cars and other properties worth millions of Naira while some residents were rendered homeless.
 
According to reports, the explosion which occurred at about 3:00am was caused by spillage from vandalized pipeline.
An eye-witness report stated that the explosion occurred while some residents were trying to scoop fuel from the scene of the vandalized pipeline.
The explosion occurred at a car dealer spot located Abule Egba under bridge.
 
However, LASEMA officials and that of Lagos Fire service have brought the situation under control.
