President-elect Donald Trump has named his campaign manager, Susan Summerall Wiles, as his White House Chief of Staff.

In a statement, Trump claimed that Wiles “just helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history.” Susan Summeral Wiles is making history as the first female Chief of Staff in American history.

Wiles was a top adviser for the Trump campaign and was thanked by him on election night.

Earlier, Trump stated “we have no choice” but to carry out a plan to deport those residing in the US illegally on a vast scale.

It comes after President Joe Biden guaranteed a “peaceful and orderly transition” while paying tribute to his vice-president’s “inspiring campaign”

Every president’s administration relies heavily on his or her White House chief of staff.

They are effectively the White House manager, in charge of assembling a president’s staff. A Chief of Staff leads the personnel through the President’s Executive Office and is in charge of all daily operations and activities.

The Chief of Staff also assist presidents on policy matters and are in charge of steering and monitoring policy development.
