Azeez Fashola, a.k.a. Naira Marley, a Nigerian musician, and Balogun Eletu, a.k.a. Sam Larry, a Lagos socialite, were yesterday remanded in police prison for the killing of singer Lerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, by a magistrate’s court in the Yaba neighborhood of Lagos State.

The police had asked the court for permission to hold the pair in custody for 30 days while they finished their investigation into Mohbad’s death. Magistrate Adela Olatunbosun decided on the application and mandated that both men be held in custody for just 21 days.

Meanwhile, Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy, was proclaimed wanted by the Lagos police yesterday in connection with the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad. Following his refusal to comply with a police invitation from the start of the inquiry into the events leading to the musician’s death, Primeboy was listed as a wanted person.

Ibrahim is a guy, 1.64 m tall, with dark skin, tribal markings, and Yoruba as his tribe.

Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, said that Primeboy’s last known address was ThirsPower in Ikorodu, Lagos.

“If seen, contact the nearest police station or call 08036885727. The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Idowu Owohunwa, hereby offers a handsome reward of N1 million to anyone with useful information leading to his arrest,” he added.
