Lagos Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has invited the Department of State Services (DSS) to join the investigation into the death of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba nicknamed MohBad.
Following Gov Sanwo-Olu’s direction, the Lagos Police Command established a 13-member investigation panel on Monday.
The Governor expressed his condolences to the artists’ families and followers in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The murder of the 27-year-old musician has sparked numerous disputes, with netizens blaming his previous record label, Marlians Record, and seeking justice.
The Governor requested that the DSS contribute to the inquiry by deploying best-in-class technologies to uncover the truth.
As a result of this request, the DSS has consented to join the inquiry in order to bring justice to the singer’s family and fans.
