Imran Khan, a former Pakistani prime minister, has been taken into custody by paramilitary personnel outside Islamabad’s High Court.

Mr. Khan was testifying in court over allegations of corruption, which he claims are motivated by politics.

According to reports, after entering the court complex, Mr. Khan was held by authorities in armored personnel vehicles.

After being dismissed as prime minister in April of last year, he has been pushing for early elections ever since.
